As a young lady scarcely out of all inclusive school in Toowoomba when she handled her first group gigs, Douglas adhered ardently to the standard: “Never let them see an indication of shortcoming.” She even gave that one for nothing to a crying Sharon Osbourne, having a second in a lodging hall washroom during Ozzy Osbourne’s 1980 Blizzard of Ozz visit.

Tana Douglas is known as the primary lady roadie and got her beginning working Production in 1973 when Philippe Petit manipulated a steel link between the pinnacles at the northern access to the Sydney Harbor Bridge. (Kathy Sander another roadie got her beginning in 1974 visiting with Elton John). Without acknowledging it she had recently done her first gig. This was trailed by a gathering with a notable Australian Tour chief Wane “Damp” Jarvis, who provoked her curiosity in the creation side of the Music Industry. This prompted her initially paying gig with a band called Fox, setting up and taking care of their stage hardware known as the backline. In the wake of taking that work and moving to Melbourne, a proposal to work for an alternate band went along in the center of 1974. This band was AC/DC. All through Tana’s four-decade vocation she has worked in backline, sound, lights, coordinations, creation, and visit the executives.
